So. Russ Limbaugh annouced on his nation wide radio show, that Oscar the cat (who holds vigils for dying persons with dementia) was dead. I got innudated with email messages and the NH got calls. Turns out that Russ had to annouce that he was joking (and he likes cats and that he has it on good authority was a comfort to the dying nursing home residents).

Also, I got in the mail today the original catoon from the Oregonian of Oscar visiting the Attorney's General office.

Oscar is taking it all in stride - here he is lying on the cartoon...

As Mary says, "he is just a cat."
